Leilani Lodge has been looking for a horse to really step up in 2018-19 and they look to have found the perfect contender for stakes racing over the coming months. SKY BOY brought up win number 5 at only his tenth start announcing himself as a star of the future.

This campaign has seen the son of Pendragon string three wins in a row up to 2000m and he has shown that fighting quality required to compete in one of the toughest markets in Australia. Christian Reith couldn’t fault the 4YO gelding as he carried 60kg to victory fighting off the fast finishing Savacool.

Anthony and Edward commented that “he looks like a real Villiers contender after showing versatility and class that will have him right in contention. The opinion has always been high surrounding the Think Big Stud graduate and we can’t wait to see how the rest of his career evolves”

SKY BOY has been nominated for the BM88 (1800m) at Rosehill Gardens on the 24th November and will be hard to beat again looking at his progression
